Dr Andrea Fredieu, MD
Dr. Andre Fredieu is a progressive doctor who is on the cutting edge of current science as it is applied to stroke rehabilitation. He is heavily invested in the direction that Revive Treatment Centers offers in approaching stroke recovery.
Several years ago, Dr. Fredieu was exposed to functional neurology in his role as Medical Director of Carrick Brain Centers in Dallas, Texas. It was during this time Dr. Fredieu was introduced to Dr. Joshua Flowers and their clinical relationship was ignited. Through this experience, Dr. Fredieu grew a strong interest in functional neurology, holistic medicine, non-traditional neuronal stimulation. All of which has equipped him for his advisory role with Revive Treatment Centers.
He has practiced Interventional Neurology since 2005. Currently, he sits as the Medical Director of the Oklahoma Stroke & Neurological Institute at Hillcrest Medical Center. Dr. Fredieu has been instrumental in developing Hillcrest Medical Center into a Comprehensive Stroke Program and Hillcrest South Medical Center into a Primary Stroke Program by DNV requirements.
Dr. Fredieu completed his Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1989. He earned his Medical Degree at the UCLA School of Medicine in 1998. He completed his Stroke Neurology Fellowship and Interventional Neuroradiology Fellowship at UCLA in 2003 and 2005, respectively.
He is a member of the American Society of Interventional & Therapeutic Neuroradiology / Society of Neurointerventional Surgery, the Society of Vascular & Interventional Neurology and the American Academy of Neurology.
Dr Fredieu’s personal interests include exercising, sports, spending time with his family and reading his Bible. He has shown a very strong commitment to community outreach and education. “It is my firm belief that the only way to treat disease is to prevent it through education and dedication.”
